Pro Preacher’s Top Posts of 2018

Thanks to you, 2018 was a monumental year for Pro Preacher.

Here’s a quick recap of some of the milestones:

  • We’ve crushed last year’s record for visitors and page views, growing nearly 50%.
  • I launched a preaching course. Enrollment is open if you’re interested in stepping up your preaching in 2019.
  • I published the Productive Christian Journal. You can read about how this journal changed my life here.
  • I published a few sermon packages to help busy pastors: my wedding sermons, funeral sermons, and a Christmas sermon.
  • On a personal note, I finally graduated from seminary. It was a long time coming, and I wrote about here.
  • After a lot of prayer and consideration, I pushed past the fear and followed God’s lead to take the full-time plunge into writing and creating Christian content. You can read more about the decision here.

Wow, it’s been a crazy and productive year. For all of this, I thank God, and I also need to thank you.

I couldn’t do any of this without such a great community of readers.

When I started this little blog six years ago, I had no idea how big God’s plan was. Who knew that God would use what a young pastor like me was learning about preaching to impact tens of thousands of pastors around the world?

So thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. I’m so happy that you’re finding my work to be helpful for you and your ministry.

What to expect in 2019

God has given me the vision to continue to work hard to make ProPreacher.com the best resource available to help pastors preach better.

I plan to write more articles, make more resources, publish more books, compile more sermon illustrations, create more videos, and possibly start a podcast (let me know if you would listen).

I can’t wait!

Thanks again for reading. 2018 was a milestone year, but we are just getting started. Stick around because 2019 will be even better.
